1. What Cookies Are
Cookies are small values stored by a browser and returned to a website. They can maintain a secure session, remember authentication or support other site functions.
2. How TraderLens Uses Cookies
The current application uses cookies for session management, authentication and request security. It does not need a consent banner for these strictly necessary functions alone.
3. Strictly Necessary Cookies
*Exact generated cookie names can vary with application configuration.
4. Preference Storage
TraderLens stores traderlens-theme in localStorage to remember light or dark mode. The authenticated console also stores traderlens-sidebar-collapsed. localStorage is not a cookie and remains on the device until cleared by the user or application.
5. Analytics Cookies
TraderLens uses its own first-party usage analytics. These set no analytics cookie, load no third-party analytics script and create no identifier that can follow you to another website. A visit is distinguished only by a random value held in the existing session cookie, which is discarded when that session ends. On this basis these functions do not require a consent banner. Introducing a third-party analytics or advertising provider would change that, and this policy and any required consent controls must be updated before such a provider is used.
6. Marketing Cookies
No advertising or marketing cookies were identified in the current application audit.
7. Third-Party Cookies
Third-party authentication or externally loaded content may set cookies under the provider’s own domain when used. Their policies govern those cookies. No embedded advertising content was identified.
8. Cookie Duration
Session duration is configuration-dependent. The current default session lifetime is 120 minutes of inactivity, while remember-me authentication is framework-managed and may persist longer.
9. Managing Cookies
Browser settings can remove or block cookies and localStorage. Blocking necessary cookies may prevent sign-in, secure forms and authenticated features from working.
10. Changes to This Policy
This policy will be updated if storage practices, analytics or integrations change.
